this is my story...

FullSizeRender.jpg
I have struggled most of my adult life with addiction. I have hurt a lot of people along the way. Most of the time it was those that I know and love the most. It wasn't until I came across someone who looked like me, talked like me, and acted like me. He was sitting behind the desk as I walked into yet another treatment facility. He knew exactly what I was going to say when I was going to say it. He didn't read from a book, he just knew because he had been there. He had struggled himself. That is when I began to realize that change was possible.
Things started making sense. I continued to struggle but something was different. There was hope. I regained my Faith. I began to trust those that were trying to help me. I realized that I had to get out of my own way and allow myself to finally ask someone for help. I was in recovery.
Recovery for me is a lifelong battle. My addiction will always be with me but it's not who I am. I am a Father, a Grandfather, a Son, a Brother, an Uncle and a Friend. I have the love and compassion for others and I want to be there to help them rebuild their lives and repair the love and relationships they've lost along the way.
Your recovery is going to be different than mine but I promise that I will always work with you as long as you are ready to do the work. It's not going to be easy but it will definitely be worth it in the end. Let me thank you in advance for allowing me to be a part of your miracle.
